STALLIONS

TY Tattooed Romeo

Mustang Stallion

"Rom is my personal buddy at Shiver Creek, he came to me after a trucker had hit his mother while she was still bearing him. After the vet had told us how far along his mother, who we named Tiny Angel, was in her pregnancy we decided to preform a c-section on her as we were told the poor girl would not make it through the night but the foal would. I personally bottle fed this boy, he's the biggest baby until someone come nears me that he does not like. He excels in Trail and reining events, is four years of age, and 15.4 hands high one of our biggest mustangs on the property. He resides in a pasture with Juliet, his mare and her sister Princess."

TY Van Gogh

Mustang Stallion

Van Gogh is oour little christmas colt, born as a surprise on Christmas morning we were very much in love with this big stud from the moment we laid eyes on him. However, being Rom's colt we are having problems in the training department as its Vans way or the High Way. He just began competing in halter and horsemanship shows and we hope soon to have him in under saddle shows.

TY Tripod

Mustang Stallion

Tripod is the second youngest stallion at Tybar ranch and is just beginning to start showing. Tripod had a rough start in this world, as when we ound this lovely boy he was caught in a wolf trap.  He was still a foal when we ound him and we worried he wold be lame due to his injuries, however he is provin himsel to be an agile and swit mover with the cows and works great when we bring in horses from the range.

TY Picasso

Mustang Stallion

"Pico, this stallion is a handful he dislikes anyone and everyone, of course though like Rom he has bonded with one of our staff members Kylee. Him and Kylee are both at Shiver Creek for the same reasons...causing trouble and up roar in the local town. Pico was caught rounding up mares from local ranchers and finally got caught. His capture though was not a fun one as he had got himself stuck between two slats in a 6ft tall fence. He excels mostly in reining but is learning trail events, is 3 yearsof age, and 14.3 hands high. He stays in a pasture by himself for now as he does not get along well with other animals."

MARES

TY Aries

Mustang Mare

Aries is a special little mare, she has never been scared of humans and typically was the easiest of all our horses to train. From the moment she came into our holding pasture she wanted more to due with our ranch hands then the other horses in her pasture. She's a flirt, but not with the stallions with the farm boys.  Her unique coloring and gentle spirit we hope she will prove herself a top compeitior for Tybar Ranch

RAHS Expresar

criollo mare

Preza is a fiery, mischievous little thing. She was nippy for the longest time, we recently got her to stop but it was a battle. Now she spends her time trying to unlock the gates on the pastures, the door on her stall and (the time she actually opened her stall and escaped) the door to the feed room. We don't recommend using an easy lock with her around. Her ground manners could use quite a bit of work, she crowds you, rushes for treats, and throws a fit when lunged. In spite of this, she's rather nice to ride, and has smooth, round gaits.

TY Painted Juilet

Mustang Mare

"Jules came to us, we didn't need to find her. As a foal she had gotten seperated from her herd, and while we were weaning Rom from his bottle and getting him used to the pasture she wandered into the area and under the fence. At first we didn't know where she had come from but soon realized she was from a heard that had just been rounded up. Knowing this we decided to keep the little filly, we soon found out the poor girl was deaf, though gorgeous she was scared of everything. As time has gone by she has bonded with Rom who keeps right at her side until its time to be brought in for the night. She is an excellent trail horse despite her lack of hearing and is learning reining she is 4 years old and 14 hands high. She resides with Princess and Rom"

TY Silverado

INFO COMING SOON

TY Meadowlark

Mustang Mare

From what our vet tells us she's very young(Yearling by his guess) and very high strung yet timid. We have yet to be able to get close enough to her since we brought her home from the local auction. Her color is stunning, her conformation is beautiful, however we can't think of a suiting name for this little filly. She enjoy's the company of the cattle however, so we hope when she is old enough and more tame that we can begin working her in Cutting or Working Cow, along with of course our standard in reining horses.
